West Flanders Governor Paul Breyne, Ambassador of Belgium and several other executives from Belgium welcomed by the West Java Governor Ahmad Heyawan in connection with their visit on Wednesday (24/11) to discuss the offer of investment potential for cooperation between the two parties.
Heryawan said the fifth was the potential offered, geothermal development, waste management, water management, textiles and tourism. The five potential offered was consider the most potential for Belgian entrepreneurs to invest in West Java.
"The quality of the machine from Belgium has been recognized by our employer. However, the price is quite high. However, we try to find solutions to cooperation. For example, by creating a new textile plant with technology from Belgium and at the same time, we provide a cheap labor force, "he said.
Currently, according Heryawan, there are 12 companies from the Kingdom of Belgium who do business in West Java.
Heryawan hope, cooperation has been good can be improved in order to realize the welfare of people in both provinces. "It is expected that investment cooperation continue to be encouraged. Cooperation between the two provinces and employers therein can be increased," said Heryawan.
